Who am I and what do I do?
I became a Functional Nutritional Practitioner after it took me 42 years, YES 42 years to lose 42lbs. Years of YoYo dieting, slimming clubs and faddy diets. Everything I did was wrong for my body. Once I was shown the correct way to nourish and heal myself I knew I had to teach others the way to do it right. It was lifechanging.
I specialise in emotional eating, body positive health changes, weight loss for health outcomes, gastrointestinal disorders, thyroid disease.
This is me
My name is Linda England and I am a Functional Nutritional Practitioner specialising in weight loss, hormonal imbalance, thyroid disorders, gastrointestinal issues and food intolerances. I became an FNP after a battle of 42 years to lose weight and with now a personal weight loss of 42lbs, for which I have maintained for close to 6 years.
For clients who have tried everything for weight loss and health but nothing seems to work, I am considered the "final stop," and a "functional health detective" because I will diligently identify the issue and course of action for any client to get them exactly where they want to be. Let me join you on your journey to feeling the best you’ve ever felt!
My Philosophy
I use a combination of motivational tactics, updated nutritional research and client lifestyle immersion to help my clients achieve optimal results. I believe our bodies crave healing and that weight gain and inflammation are results of the modern diet and an environment that supports these conditions.
I don’t believe in willpower and I think it is possible for ANYONE to lose weight with the proper tools and practice. I tell my clients they are “signing their life away” when they sign on with me because I will never let them forget the greatness they deserve, even when they aren’t ready for it.
5 STEPS TO SUCCESS
1. LISTEN: I hear all of your concerns and feelings that other healthcare professionals may have missed or ignored.
2. CREATE: I address all of your concerns and goals with a highly personalised plan catered to your lifestyle and medical needs.
3. ENACT: We put the meal plan into action.
4. REVISE: If anything doesn’t work, I monitor progress and change the plan as needed.
5. REINFORCE: I follow up with updated recommendations and motivational guidance to ensure success.
